Alexandra Burgess

Executive Associate

National Project Controls Lead

Alex is a highly experienced delivery consultant, specialising in risk management, scheduling, and systems integration for major projects and portfolios. Her reputation has been built on her considerable depth of knowledge, agile thinking, and an ability to identify and mitigate problems before they arise. A Chartered Professional Engineer and qualified project manager, Alex understands the technical challenges of delivery and knows how to build and manage controls systems that lift performance.

Over the past 15+ years, Alex has held lead roles on a broad range of challenging and complex projects, including the Health NZ Building Services upgrades programme, the Kāinga Ora land development alliance, the City Rail Link underground stations and tunnels, the Auckland Council redevelopment of the Auckland waterfront for the hosting of the America’s Cup, and the NZ Transport Agency construction of the Arras Tunnel and National War Memorial Park in Wellington. Alex now uses the knowledge and experience gained from those projects to work alongside asset owners on the development and delivery of successful projects.
