Northwestern Bus Improvements project

Frequency is proud to be providing cost management services on the Northwestern Bus Improvements project. This is a joint Auckland Transport (AT) and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency project to deliver a range of short-term bus improvements over the next five years to support growth in the region. The improvements will provide more reliable bus journeys and reduce traffic congestion with improved connections both locally and into the city centre.

Fundamental to this project is our collaborative and close working relationship with both client organisations AT & Waka Kotahi as well as the Designer and Main Contractor.

This construction work has been underway since late July 2021 and will provide new bus stops at the Te Atatū and Lincoln Road interchanges, plus improvements to connect and extend the bus shoulders on the Northwestern Motorway (SH16).
