This project focuses on the remediation of twin box culverts within the Paremuka Dam, which are currently in poor condition and at risk of deforming. These culverts play a critical role in conveying water from the Paremuka Dam, classed as a high potential impact category large dam. The project aims to extend the culverts’ asset lifespan by 100 years, thereby reducing the risk of failure that could cause significant disruption to the rail network and potentially lead to the collapse of the dam.
Frequency was appointed as the Project Manager for the planning and design of this project.
