PROJECTS

Ardmore Watermain and Pump Station

Client: Watercare
Location: Auckland
Service Line: Project Management Delivery
Team: Jay Suta

This project focuses on treating one of the primary water supply transmissions from the Ardmore Water Treatment Plant to the Redoubt Road reservoir. This involves developing a design for multiple cross-connections and constructing a new booster pump station with a capacity of 350 million liters per day. The new station will connect to 1.9 meter and 1.2 meter diameter pipes, providing up to 60% of Auckland’s water supply. These improvements will ensure the long-term resilience of Auckland’s water supply, enabling scheduled maintenance and effective management of the aging pipeline.

This project is a critical step towards securing a reliable and sustainable water supply for Auckland, addressing both current needs and future demands.
