Eastern Busway is an aggregated programme of works, that will give the residents of Auckland’s south-eastern suburbs improved transport choices and better connectivity to the rest of the city. This project is a significant piece of Auckland’s transport infrastructure, integrating bus and rail and linking Panmure and Botany. The three main bridge beams used on the new bridge constructed across the Tamaki River are the largest single steel structures ever produced in New Zealand and have a total length of 200m.
