Frequency’s Graduate Training Day

8 March 2021

Our talented group of graduates recently came together from our offices all over the country to take part in one of Frequency’s quarterly training days.

These form part of a wider two year Training Programme that all our new Graduates participate in, offering them a valuable opportunity to draw inspiration and knowledge from their experienced colleagues and other industry experts.

The day kicked-off with each graduate seizing the opportunity to present to the group on a topic of their choice – showcasing the diversity of their interests and personalities. Following this, members of the senior management team and external representatives delivered some insightful presentations on what Frequency is all about; how the consulting business works, and the role of the board in governance.

The afternoon saw the graduates treated to the more practical part of the day – a site visit to Auckland Transport’s Wolverton Street culvert replacement project in New Lynn. Our very own Catherine Hemi is engaged as Project Manager on this project. We are thankful to both her and the site team from Brian Perry Civil for braving the heat of the day to present the impressive and challenging works they are undertaking.

Despite the full schedule, the graduates had enough time to connect with each other over lunch and during an information presentation from associate Geoff Gibson, as he Bingo-quizzed them through the details of his land remediation project near Palmerston north.

We’re looking forward to the next session in May!
