Blake Mitchell & James Milner Become Frequency Partners & Service Line Leads

2 June 2021

Frequency are pleased to announce that both Blake Mitchell and James Milner have been promoted to Partner and will each lead a Frequency Service Line.

Managing Partner Jonathan Barry welcomes the news, stating: “The appointment of Blake and James to the Partnership is richly deserved and continues our strategy to expand our Partner base, a key platform for further growth.”

Blake Mitchell joined Frequency in early 2019, and quickly became a key member of Frequency’s Project Controls team. During his time at Frequency he has been part of the AIAL Airport Development Programme, and has more recently worked with Waka Kotahi NZTA and Piritahi. We are pleased to announce that Blake has accepted a Partnership with Frequency and now leads Frequency’s Project Controls Service Line.

James Milner has been with Frequency since 2017 and has been integral in the growth of Frequency through his significant commercial and financial skillset, providing commercial advisory and risk services to many of our key clients. We are pleased to announce that James has accepted a Partnership with Frequency and will now lead our Commercial & Risk Service Line.

The Commercial & Risk Service Line is a new service offering for Frequency and focuses on providing clients with high-level commercial advice and reviews on their projects, including the development and stress testing of robust budgets, funding mechanisms, project cash burn, and associated risk profiles, from the business case and procurement phases through to commercial negotiations during delivery.

“This new service line is of significant value to our clients as they tackle larger and more complex programmes.”
