Grant Thorlund

Grant brings over 20 years of experience managing complex, fast-paced projects in design consultancy and client-side roles across New Zealand and South Africa. Specialising in complex, multidisciplinary environments, he has led design and construction phases for major projects, including a large retail complex in Tauranga, Air New Zealand projects, and a 5-star hotel at Auckland Airport. Grant’s expertise spans project scope definition, design management, budgeting, and contract administration and construction with a strong command of NZS 3910.

Known for his collaborative leadership style, Grant fosters cohesive teams and cultivates relationships that enhance project outcomes. His good communication skills and ability to understand diverse perspectives enable him to effectively engage with stakeholders, balancing technical precision with strategic insight in every project.
