Announcing the promotion of Catherine Hemi

Frequency is delighted to announce the promotion of Catherine Hemi to Executive Associate. A trusted and well-respected leader, Catherine’s expertise and interpersonal skills allow her to effectively build relationships and lead teams across an extensive portfolio of infrastructure projects.

With Catherine’s changing role within Frequency comes exciting challenges and a renewed focus. “I am looking forward to increasing my engagement with key clients. Frequency has grown from strength to strength over the last 10 years, and we continue to deliver some of the nation’s most complex and high-profile infrastructure projects and programmes to support the economic growth of the country. I get a deep sense of fulfilment from infrastructure projects that bring with them long term societal value and wider benefits.”

Catherine is a civil engineer with over 20 years’ experience across structural design and project management consultancy.  Before joining Frequency, Catherine held structural engineering roles both internationally and in New Zealand, across a range of large scale commercial and transportation projects, such as Sky Tower/ Sky City and the Jubilee Line Extension, London.

In recent times, Catherine has delivered outstanding results in her management of transportation projects such as the Wolverton St Culverts Replacements and Britomart Station Overhead Electrification. Catherine is currently engaged by Auckland Transport on multiple projects including critical asset resilience schemes and the Urban Cycleway Programme of works.

Frequency’s Managing Partner, Tim Palin, welcomed this appointment.
