When KiwiRail needed to build its own carrier grade telecommunications network to Wellington to facilitate Auckland’s electric rail network, Frequency responded and was able to work with both local and international suppliers to provide an innovative transmission solution, allowing KiwiRail to ‘light up’ existing fibres in their rail network and create their own dedicated fibre network, saving cost and providing a secure network operations platform.
