Catherine Hemi

Catherine is a Civil Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in engineering consultancy. Working both in New Zealand and offshore, Catherine brings an extensive career and broad experience in structural engineering design, including buried structures, and project and contracts management of public transport infrastructure, education, housing and healthcare projects.

Catherine delivers outstanding results with her project portfolio spanning iconic Auckland projects ranging from the Sky Tower to Britomart Station Overhead Electrification. Currently, Catherine is engaged by Auckland Transport on multiple projects across asset resilience projects and the Urban Cycleway Programme of works.  Her strong technical background and communication skills has led her to become a highly sought-after project manager and Engineer to Contract.

As a leader of the Graduate Programme, Catherine is dedicated to the development and implementation of the learning curriculum for this, also providing ongoing support to our younger team members.
