We’d like to introduce Polly, our newest Senior Project Manager who joins the team in Wellington.
Polly arrived in New Zealand from the UK only a short time ago, after deciding for a while to make the big move. Luckily she has family scattered around both islands, who can show her around and make her feel at home. Polly is keen to get out and about, and take up some new hobbies.
Polly has capabilities across a wide range of disciplines such various Aviation, Healthcare, Refurbishment, Alterations and complex New Build projects.
At Gatwick Airport, Polly worked within the airport construction department overseeing contractors and GAL development projects within the airport portfolio. She managed high profile stakeholders and ensured the delivery of projects, whilst maintaining live operations during the project programme. These stakeholders included: UK Border Force, Special Branch (Police), Airlines, multi-disciplined Engineering departments and operational teams.
A similar role was undertaken on the New Royal Sussex County Hospital installing a new Helipad onto an existing tower block whilst ensuring continued hospital day to day operations. Key stakeholder engagement was required to facilitate a satisfactory works programme for all parties involved and to ensure all hospital services (in particular those of the neo-natal and maternity suites) were uninterrupted throughout.
We are excited to have Polly on board. Join us in welcoming her.
