Keystone Students at CRL

On the 26th of April, Frequency hosted a Keystone student group at the project offices of the City Rail Link project, including a walking tour of the downtown Auckland construction site. The $3.4 billion dollar City Rail link project will see a new underground railway through central Auckland, comprised of two tracks and three new stations.

Frequency are delighted to be providing valuable support to this hallmark project for Auckland, specifically providing Programme Controls Management for cost, schedule, and Board level reporting.

The students regarded the City Rail Link visits as a real highlight, with a sampling of their comments below:

“I really enjoyed the City Rail link project. It is a feature I see every day so to get a better understanding was awesome. However, the reason I enjoyed it most was due to the multifaceted thinking that the project involves. Every step has been calculated and CRL didn’t aim to just build a 2-way railway system but have master planned for future needs unlike when the Harbour bridge was built.”

“My favourite site was the City Rail Link because it was a larger project and was relevant to me after catching the train to high school every day. I also enjoyed their presentation as it gave a background to the project including facts which was really helpful.”
